Purpose
This site began as bouncingbrains.com, dedicated to the wellbeing of roving minds
and restless souls of all kinds, including those diagnosed with the clinical attention
difficulties, ADD or ADHD. To explore how to
make the most of our roving minds, contributors offered a collection of personal insights
and practical tips on topics ranging from brain research to personal wellness and peak
performance. Almost any subject related to surviving sane with a bouncing brain has been
of interest to us, although space and time imposed their limits on how much we could
publish, and our own leaping minds controlled how often.
The original bouncingbrains articles are still maintained here at this newer site,
hyperthought.net, while Carla, the editor and publisher, has bounced on to the books she's long been promising. Now that
her first series is close to launching, bouncingbrains.com has morphed again into a site
for her book news and previews But for people who valued our original content, this
site has also been kept as an archive. Please sign on to our update list if you'd like news of future happenings.
Meanwhile, please feel free to click around in our archives,
and thanks for visiting!

Many of the bylines on these pages will be familiar to those who know its
publisher, Carla Nelson, as a sysop at GO ADD or the forum leader of GO MIND on
CompuServe. Works from a number of other minds we admire are showcased here as well, along
with links to their sites.Click this link to leave
an email message if you'd
